This program has an August entry date.Program DescriptionThe Automotive Technician program prepares students for the automotive service department. This program is well suited for individuals who have a great interest and high aptitude in working on vehicles. Students will receive theory and practice in all aspects of maintenance and repair of automobiles. The lab facility serves as both a training ground and service to customers. This will provide students with a similar experience to that of a full-service business. Areas of training include fuel injection systems, on-board diagnostics, climate control systems, basic and advanced electrical systems, brakes and anti-lock brakes, manual drivelines and trasmissions, automatic transmissions, steering and suspension systems, entertainment systems, engine rebuilding, and engines testing.
