This is a self-paced program and has August and January entry dates.Program DescriptionStudents develop skills in auto body collision damage repair. Instruction is provided on metal finishing, panel repair using plastic filler, weld on panel replacement, refinishing, frame and unibody repair. Students will develop skills in body repair to include unibody and body frame construction, painting, and mechanical systems that will enable students to return collision damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition. Areas of instruction include: • paint technology • estimating • welding • structural repair • non-structural repair • auto collision mechanical • plastic repair Safety is emphasized in this program; the latest, most advanced equipment and repair techniques are used.
