2010 Talbots Women's Scholarship
Applicant must be a woman currently residing in the U.S. or Canada, have earned a high school diploma or GED on or before September 2000, be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full or part-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four year college, attending the full 2010-2011 academic year (receiving a degree no earlier than May 2011), and have at least two semesters (24 credit hours or more) remaining to complete an undergraduate degree as of the beginning of the 2010 fall academic term. AgSource DHI Foundation Polk-Burnett Fund Group Scholarship
Preference will be given to Ag majors. Applicant’s family must reside in Polk or Burnett County or be a present or past member of the Polk-Burnett DHI AgSource. Clear Water Kiwanis Club of Eau Claire, Inc. Single Parent Scholarship
Applicant must be a resident of Eau Claire County; a single custodial parent (male or female) pursuing a four-year Bachelors or a two-year Associate Degree; and have been accepted or are enrolled in a post high school program carrying a minimum of six (6) credits. Credits must apply toward a degree.

Department of Health and Family Services, DCFS Scholarship
Youth who have been in out-of-home care (foster home, group home, residential care center or court ordered Kinship Care) in Wisconsin for at least six (6) months after the age of fifteen (15) and are entering a degree, license or certificate program. Or have been in OHC placement in another state but has become a resident of Wisconsin. Must be accepted into an institution of higher education at the time the application is submitted. Home Depot Trade Scholarship
The scholarship program is open to all students nationwide who are currently enrolled in a building and construction trade school program at a vocational/technical school, college or university. Qualifying schools of the scholarship recipients will receive additional funds for classroom tools from The Home Depot Foundation through matching gifts of $1,000 for each scholarship awarded to one or more of its students. Amount - The program will provide $1,000 scholarships to 500 trade school students to help them offset the cost of tuition, books and tools for their chosen trade. Applicant or member of his/her immediate family, including grandparents MUST have served in the military. Applicant must be in a two or four year College and studying in a medical field at least one year prior to applying (may be completing their first year at time of application). River Falls Area Hospital Foundation Health Career Scholarship Program
Non-traditional students only. Applicants must have at least one year of work experience after high school; applications from high school seniors or from current full-time students who went directly from high school to a post-secondary program will not be considered. Applicants must live or work in the region served by the Foundation and be accepted or enrolled in an accredited program. (The program does not have to be located in the region.) A student may be enrolled full-time or part-time. In selecting award recipients, preference will be given to applicants who are (1) pursuing degrees that meet an identified provider shortage in the region and (2) have a demonstrated commitment to practice in the region. Other factors that will favorably influence selection include a work history in a hospital, clinic or other medical setting; demonstrated financial need; and demonstrated potential for academic success. Amount - Scholarships of $500 per academic session (up to $1000 per academic year) are available to a limited number of non-traditional students pursuing careers in health care. Sallie Mae 911 Education Fund
This fund was created in response to the terriorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The scholarship program is open to children of those who were killed or permanently disabled as a result of the terrorist attacks and who are enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an approved, accredited institution. Open to any prospective student planning to pursue an eligible vocational-technical program in a two-year Wisconsin Technical College.
