First Time Access of My CVTC

My CVTC is a password protected website that CVTC students, faculty, and staff use for resources, information, and tools such as:

Class Registration | College Announcements | Email | Course Software | Grades | Edvance360

1st Time Setup

A one-time user account setup is required to access the My CVTC website. Follow the steps below to setup your account.

  1. Access My CVTC. You may use the icon at the top center of the screen.

  2. Click on the 'First Time User?' link.   
     

  3. Complete the Activate My Account form.

  4. Fill out the form to create your Student Information System (SIS) PIN, CVTC password, and secret Q&A. Note: The SIS pin is also sometimes referred to as a Banner pin.

  5. Make a note of your My CVTC password and SIS pin and keep them in a secure place.  You will need your SIS pin to access student email for the first time.

    My CVTC Password SIS pin

    • Minimum length - 6 characters

    • Contain at least one character from EACH of the following groups:

      • Uppercase letters (A-Z)

      • Lowercase letters (a-z)

      • Numbers (0-9)

      • Additionally you may use a special character:

        ! @ # $ % ˆ & * ( ) + = _ - { } [ ]

    • Exact length - 6 characters

    • Contains any alphanumeric characters:

      • Uppercase letters (A-Z)

      • Lowercase letters (a-z)

      • Numbers (0-9)

     

  6. Follow screen prompts to return to My CVTC.

  7. Enter your username and My CVTC password to access My CVTC.
