Electronic Reference Help


  Click on the Help/FAQs link to learn how to search Bernan's Government Information on the Internet (GII). GII contains nearly 5,000 selected U.S. government, state, local, international, and intergovernmental Web sites.

  Oxford Reference Online Core Collection contains about 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press. Learn to use its fully-indexed, cross-searchable database of books.

  Learn to use Credo Reference, a giant online reference library that provides you with access to a selection of reference books, including encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri and books of quotations, with a variety of subject-specific titles covering everything from art to accountancy to technology.

Electronic Books Help:

NetLibrary is a collection of electronic books (eBooks) available to CVTC staff, faculty, and students. This unique assortment of eBooks greatly increases the number of volumes and scope of the CVTC Library collection. Students, faculty and staff can access eBooks online for specified periods of time on campus, from work, at home, or anywhere you have access to the Internet.
