The 2009 Wisconsin Education Fair is an opportunity for high school students and their parents to obtain information from representatives of more than 100 colleges, universities, trade schools and the U.S. Armed Forces.
Educators and others will be able to answer questions on admission requirements, programs, placement and financial aid.
The free fair is Thursday, Oct. 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Zorn Arena.
"Many students in northwestern Wisconsin will be off both days of the fair, providing them with a great opportunity to attend," said Sharon Rogers, Chippewa Valley Technical College high school relations specialist.
