Web Conferencing Options
Is It Right for Me?
The Web Conferencing delivery type is new to CVTC; course instruction is conducted with the use of Microsoft Live Meeting. Live Meeting is an online collaboration tool that instructors use to present course materials. Students watch and listen to the lecture using a computer, and communicate with their instructors by voice, text chat, and question and answer interaction.

How it Works/Requirements
A headset with microphone is required for web conferencing courses and is available for purchase from the CVTC Bookstore. Students should purchase this equipment prior to the first day of class. If you are connecting from off campus, make sure your computer meets the requirements found on our Hardware/Software Requirements webpage.
