Student Success

We want you to be successful. Below are some resources that will help you.
The Academic Services Center is a walk-in facility that provides free academic instruction and learning services to many populations: current CVTC students; members of the general public; GED, HSED, and high school credit. Whether you need help with a specific assignment or a set of skills, you will find personalized help in the Academic Services Center.
Need some help planning your future? Attend a Career Planning Workshop and learn how to match your interests and abilities to a CVTC program. You'll also find useful information about job opportunities and salaries, and we'll share information about available CVTC services that will help you plan for your success.

College students are balancing school, work, and family, which can feel overwhelming at times. CVTC's certified counselors are here to help with your academic, career, employment, or personal issues.
CVTC buildings are accessible to people with physical disabilities; however, Disability Services offers additional support for students with academic or accessibility needs. Auxiliary aids, support services, and assisting technology are available based upon individual needs.

Chippewa Valley Technical College welcomes, values, and respects differences and commonalities of all people. By valuing differences, we demonstrate our commitment to treating everyone with fairness and respect.
Open the doors to your future by earning your GED or HSED. Each of the five CVTC Learning Centers offers GED/HSED preparation: Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, River Falls, and Neillsville. All Learning Center services are free!

We support CVTC students in their effort to success. That's why we created the Steps to Success program. This intervention-based program focuses on preparing you for success.
