  • Coursework is rigorous and degree of difficulty is advanced
  • A permanent CVTC transcript is established – all grades earned remain on the transcript
  • Your grades at college will affect your GPA at high school
  • There are adult expectations for both academic performance and behavior
  • Transportation is the responsibility of the student and parent
  • Cost of tools (up to $1,500 for some classes) and some materials are your responsibility.
  • Withdrawing from a course may cause loss of credit accumulation at the high school
  • You are responsible for your own attendance

Payment of Tuition and Fees

  • The school board must pay for any course tuition, books and fees that is taken for high school credit and that is not comparable to a course offered in the school district. The school board may expect you to return books and materials in a useable form.
  • You may be required to reimburse the school district for tuition and fees if you drop or fail the course.
  • You must pay for incidental college fees (such as a parking permit) and for equipment, tools, supplies and consumables (notebooks, workbooks, uniforms) which will become the property of the student.
  • If you are paying for college on your own a payment option needs to be in place within 14 days of your registration date. At CVTC we make it easy to pay your tuition and fees, learn about your various payment options.
