Application Processing Fee
A one-time nonrefundable application processing fee of $30.00 is required of all students applying for credit programs/courses with the application for admission. The fee is nonrefundable, nontransferable.

Tuition and Material Fees
Tuition is charged on a per credit basis and may vary each year depending upon state legislation which is based upon operational costs. In addition to tuition, each course is assessed a material fee. Material fees vary from year to year and from course to course.

Current tuition and material fee rates can also be obtained in the Information and Service Center, Eau Claire Clairemont Campus Business Education Center, Room ECB113, 715-833-6200.

There may be additional special fees for some majors for such items as books, supplies, tools, coveralls, safety glasses, uniforms, etc.

Estimated Tuition Costs - Wisconsin and Minnesota Residents
The tuition rate (2008-2009) of $97.05 per credit applies to Wisconsin and Minnesota (reciprocal agreement) residents.

Estimated Tuition Costs - Out-of-State Residents
The tuition rate (2008-2009) of $594.25 per credit applies to out-of-state residents (excluding Minnesota—see above). The out-of-state tuition fees are the student’s responsibility to pay for the duration of the program. Please note that out-of-state tuition fees do not apply to distance education offerings through our virtual campus. International students need to contact the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Designated School Official (DSO) at (715) 833-6200, or send e-mail to: kvang@cvtc.edu.

Activity Fee
An activity fee is assessed on all credit classes. The fee is 5.5% of the current per-credit tuition rate. The fee is non-refundable.

Health Services Fee
Students who register for six or more credits per semester (3 or more credits for summer) will automatically be enrolled in student health services and have basic health care provided. This fee is assessed each semester.

Graduation Fee
There is NO graduation application fee required. Students who plan to participate in the commencement ceremony must purchase a cap and gown at the Bookstore prior to the ceremony.
