Online Master Promissory Note (MPN)



To receive a Federal Stafford Loan at CVTC, you must be able to answer yes to ALL of the following questions or be in the process of completing them:
  1. Have you been accepted into an eligible program at CVTC?
  2. Has your FAFSA application been processed by the Department of Education and the results sent to CVTC?
  3. Have you been awarded a Federal Stafford Loan on your award letter?
  4. Are you a first-time student loan borrower? If yes, you must complete Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling before any loan proceeds will applied to your account. When you fill out your Master Promissory Note(MPN) you will be prompted to complete loan entrance counseling. If you filled out your MPN and did not do loan entrance counseling you can complete it now at the Entrance Counseling website.
  5. Have you chosen a lender yet? If not, view CVTC's volume list.
