READI Assessment

Are You READI for an E-Learning Class?

Use the READI tool to assesses your likelihood for success in an E-Learning course at CVTC. This tool assesses the degree to which you possess attributes that contribute to success in online learning, including:

• Self-motivation
• Time management skills
• Self-discipline
• Persistence
• Availability of time
• Reading comprehension
• Ability to use a laptop, printer, software and the Internet

You will be able to complete READI in about 30 minutes; READI uses a sequence of activities to measure the traits and skills for distance study and learning.  It also provides immediate feedback through your scores and diagnostic interpretation of your results.

The scores from your assessment will not prevent you from applying for online courses.

• Any E-Learning Student - Select cvtconline from the Username drop-down box, enter cvtc in the Password field and click the Login button, if necessary.
• Returning Test-Takers - For students that have started the test and have access to their READI PIN.
