The exploration class is geared toward high school juniors and seniors.
It gives the students a hands-on approach of what the Auto Collision Repair & Refinish Technician Program is all about. The students will be introduced to different auto body skills and careers in the auto body field.
Student learn proper wire feed welding use and application.
During the class students prepare, prime and paint a panel.
They get to work with body fillers and other products. The students get to weld metal and work with various auto body tools such as grinders, Spray guns, orbital sanders, body files and hammers and dollies.
The students develop spray techniques by spraying prepared panels.
