The Clinical Laboratory Technician Program is a two-year associate degree program. The first three semesters are spent on campus developing both a theoretical and practical background in bacteriology, serology, urinalysis, clinical chemistry, hematology, parasitology, mycology and blood bank. The fourth semester internship is spent at an affiliated hospital laboratory gaining clinical experience in the above areas. Wisconsin affiliated hospitals and/or clinical laboratories currently include facilities located in Ashland, Berlin, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Mauston, Menomonie, Rhinelander, Rice Lake, Cumberland, Stanley, Hudson and Waupaca. Minnesota affiliates are located  in Red Wing, Rochester, and Winnona.

Upon successful completion of this nationally accredited program, the student is qualified to take a national examination which results in certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.
