Program Dean

Dave serves as the Campus Administrator for the Business and Information Technology Focused Learning Center at CVTC. As such, he works as the Program Dean for GIS. It is his responsibility to oversee the delivery of instruction for the program, including program evaluation, scheduling issues, student concerns, budgeting for the program, and representing the program interests with college leadership.  Dave’s office is in Room 220 at the Clairemont Campus.  Phone: 715-833-6443; e-mail:  dgavin@cvtc.edu

Janet Goldsmith
Program Assistant

Janet is the Program Assistant for all the Business and Marketing courses, including GIS.  She is responsible for entering all the courses in the computer that in turn allows students to find out when they are scheduled, what the fees are, room number, enrollment capacity, etc.  Janet has been employed at CVTC since 1987, and her office is located in Room 220 at the Clairemont Campus.  Janet is another resource person if you have any questions about the program or courses in the program.  Phone: 715-833-6369; e-mail: jgoldsmith@cvtc.edu
