A CVTC Official Transcript is a complete record of a student's enrollment at the College and is maintained by the Registrar’s Office. An Official Transcript includes all credit, non-credit, and basic skills education courses. Partial transcripts are not available.
CVTC has partnered with Credentials, Inc. to accept transcript orders via the internet through a secured site. TranscriptPlus® will facilitate your request 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The online service provides you with notifications about the transcript order and its status.
Official CVTC transcripts are printed on security paper, which includes tests for authenticity. CVTC will issue official transcripts to you in a sealed envelope with the words “unofficial if seal is broken” written across the envelope flap, mailed in an individually sealed college envelope. The official transcript should remain in the unopened, sealed envelope until it is presented to the employer, institution or scholarship provider. Official transcripts bear the electronic signature of the registrar and do not require a raised seal.
Regular service transcripts cost $6.00 each. Once we receive your transcript request, there is approximately a 48-hour (business day) processing time.
RUSH transcripts cost $15.00 each. Once we receive your transcript request, processing time is 24-hours (business day). No transcripts will be processed on Saturday or Sunday.
Requesting an Official Transcript
Payment must be made by credit or debit card and you must have an e-mail address. A cash or check option is available if the online transcript order is placed at a CVTC campus location and computer. If you are ordering a transcript from a CVTC campus, payment can be made directly at our campuses with cash, money order, check, or credit/debit card information.
Your order will be processed upon request unless you have requested that it be held for degree or grade posting. Financial obligations to the college must be cleared before a transcript will be issued.
*Please Note: if you are requesting a copy of your GED/HSED, please contact the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
