Apprentices who have completed a minimum of four hundred (400) hours of related instruction and obtained journey-level status are eligible for thirty-two (32) credits of advanced standing to meet the occupational-specific course requirements of an Associate Degree in Technical Studies-Journey Worker. Credit may be granted for previous work experience, previous military education or other prior learning experiences. Skills and knowledge gained through experiential learning must relate directly to the program course. Competency must be documented by the student and reviewed by the course instructor. Contact the Program Chair for further information. Your cost to obtain occupation experience credit is 25% of the current tuition being charged by our institution.
