College Admission & Transition Support

Going to college as an adult can be scary. Adult students are sometimes nervous about returning to school or worried about feeling out of place on a college campus. We make it easier by working with you to develop a personal education plan and identifying which resources you may need. This plan can include working one-on-one with an instructor to refresh skills in reading, writing, and math, and individualized practice with CVTC technology, note taking skills, and test-taking strategies.

  • Meet with a College Navigator to develop a personal education plan and identify resources that will help your transition to CVTC.
  • Work one-on-one with an instructor to refresh skills in reading, writing, and math.
  • Practice using CVTC technology, build textbook reading and note taking skills, and learn test-taking strategies.
