Graduation ceremonies are held three times a year:
- in December for the fall semester
- in May for the spring semester
- in July for the summer semester.
Graduation is held in Eau Claire and River Falls. The ceremonies are open to the public - no tickets are necessary. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early is special seating is required or preferred.
A few important details about each ceremony are listed below.
Eau Claire Commencement
The Eau Claire Commencement will take place at UWEC Zorn Arena.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for guest seating. Ceremony begins at 7 p.m.
Parking is available in the Phillips and Hibbard parking lots. On-street parking is also available. Meters will be monitored.
The length of the ceremony is approximately 90 minutes.
A reception to honor the graduates will follow the ceremony. All graduates and guests are welcome to attend.
River Falls Commencement
Doors open at 6:00pm for guest seating. Ceremony begins at 7 p.m.
Special seating accommodations for physical impairments can be requested by contacting the River Falls Main Office at 715-425-3301 48 hours in advance.
The length of the ceremony is approximately one hour.
A reception to honor graduates will follow the ceremony. All graduates and guests are welcome to attend.
The River Falls Commencement will take place at the River Falls High School.
