GED/HSED Testing Information & Fees

• If you are testing in Eau Claire, pay for your test in advance at the Cashiers Office and bring your receipt to the testing room.
• If you are testing at another location, pay at the front office. A receipt will be provided at that time.

Testing Fees for the GED

• $15.00 per test, $90 total (includes credential fee)
• $15.00 for each retest 
• Test fees are not refundable.

• No fee is charged for the Employability Skills requirement

A $15.00 State Credentialing Fee will be charged when signing up for your last test. Upon successful completion of all testing, you will receive a GED transcript.

Lost your transcript? You can request a GED/HSED transcript for $5.00 or at a cost of $15.00 for same-day service.

On the Day of the Test

• You will not be permitted to test if you are late, so be on time!
• A valid government issued photo ID is REQUIRED. You will not be admitted without one.
• Testers are not allowed to bring purses, backpacks, food/drinks, or other personal items to their seats in the testing room. Any items you bring along will be collected and stored at the front of the room (at your own risk).

If you are unable to make your testing appointment, please contact us at (715) 833-6514 prior to 9:00am on the day of your test. You will forfeit your fee if you do not call to cancel your appointment.
