Graduation

​Graduation ceremonies are held three times a year:

  • in December for the fall semester
  • in May for the spring semester
  • in July for the summer semester.

Graduation is held in Eau Claire and River Falls. The ceremonies are open to the public - no tickets are necessary. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early is special seating is required or preferred.

A few important details about each ceremony are listed below.

Eau Claire Commencement

Details

The Eau Claire Commencement will take place at UWEC Zorn Arena.​

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for guest seating. Ceremony begins at 7 p.m.​

Parking is available in the Phillips and Hibbard parking lots. On-street parking is also available. Meters will be monitored.​

The length of the ceremony is approximately 90 minutes.​

A reception to honor the graduates will follow the ceremony. All graduates and guests are welcome to attend.​

 

River Falls Commencement

Details

Doors open at 6:00pm for guest seating. Ceremony begins at 7 p.m.​

Special seating accommodations for physical impairments can be requested by contacting the River Falls Main Office at 715-425-3301 48 hours in advance.​

Parking is free.​

The length of the ceremony is approximately one hour.​

A reception to honor graduates will follow the ceremony. All graduates and guests are welcome to attend.​

The River Falls Commencement will take place at the River Falls High School.​
