Income Tax Return Assistance

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

Do you need help filing your income tax return? CVTC offers free income tax return assistance to taxpayers who cannot afford to pay for professional help. VITA provides free tax assistance for low-to moderate-income individuals with an adjusted gross annual income under $52,000. Volunteers are certified by the IRS.

  • with income from self-employment (Schedule C business return)
  • from states other than Wisconsin
  • who have very complicated returns.

 About the Appointment

The VITA volunteer program is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and wait times vary; we appreciate your patience.

We understand your time is very valuable; however, tax preparation takes time. If we rush, there is a possibility of a mistake occurring and a delay in your return being processed.
