Priority Date

There are several reasons to apply by our priority date. Some funds (like state grants) are given out on a first come first served basis. If you complete steps 1-3 by the priority date for your semester we can guarantee you will get your award letter by the date indicated.

Can I Apply Earlier than the Priority Date?

You should complete your FAFSA as soon as you (and your parents if you are considered a dependent student) have completed your Federal taxes. The earliest date to apply is January 1. 

What if I Don't Meet the Priority Date?

If you miss the priority date you should still apply for financial aid; however, you may not receive your award letter before payment is due and would need to make other payment arrangements.
