Approximately 30 percent of all applicants of financial aid are chosen for a process called verification. For students and parents who have been selected for verification, the Department of Education requires that CVTC collects some required documentation to verify the information you reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Depending on your circumstances, you will be asked to fill out one or more of the forms below. All forms are in PDF format. Please print your form(s) and submit to us by fax, email, or mail. Before mailing or faxing the required documents, please be sure to check that all forms are signed and dated.
IRS Tax Transcripts
If you choose not to import your tax information into your FAFSA you may be selected for the verification process and will need to order a Tax Return Transcript. View instructions on obtaining an IRS Tax Return Transcript.
