There are two State programs administered through the Veterans Services Office:
The Wisconsin State GI Bill
Information on eligibility requirements can be viewed at the Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs website. This link includes eligibility information and forms. If you have questions on eligibility after you have read the information, you should speak with your Veterans Service Office in the County in which you reside.
The *WDVA Form 2029 (found in the packet) must be filled out, signed, have the appropriate documentation attached and given to the Veterans Service Office at the school or the Free Tuition will not be administered.
If the approval from the WDVA is not received when your tuition is due you will be responsible to pay the fees and once approval arrives from the WDVA the school will reimburse you.
The Form 2029 must be received in the Veterans Office at CVTC within 14 days of the start of the semester.
Even if you were approved at a previous school, you must still complete a new WDVA2029 for CVTC.
