The CVTC Foundation added three new members to its board of directors and elected officers for 2012-13 at its annual meeting Thursday, Sept. 20.
Joining the board for their first terms are Paul Kohler, president of Charter Bank in Eau Claire; Dean Rohde, an attorney with Bye, Goff, & Rohde in River Falls; and Kathleen Skarvan, the vice president of operations of OEM Fabricators, Inc. in Woodville.
Melissa Ostertag, a hygienist with Ostertag Orthodontics LLC in Eau Claire, was elected president. Ostertag is serving a third term on the board. Roy Fuerstenberg, president and CEO of Documation LLC in Eau Claire was elected vice president. He is serving a third term on the board. Mike Berg, vice president of Ayres Associates in Eau Claire, was elected treasurer. Berg is serving a second term on the board.
Heidi Fisher directs the CVTC Foundation. The mission of the CVTC Foundation Inc. is to support the mission and values of Chippewa Valley Technical College through the development and management of funds for the purposes of providing student scholarships, supporting staff, technology and ongoing facility development.
