This will affect ALL computer and network related resources, including CVTC Website, Intranet, e-mail, phones, HVAC controls, door lock systems, etc. All student computer-related resources will be affected also, including Edvance 360, Cashier Connection, Citrix, network drives, student e-mail, etc.
Please plan ahead for the outage, as it will involve shutting down most campus functions. If you have questions or concerns please contact your campus manager, supervisor, dean or instructor for your area.
While this may cause some temporary inconvenience, what is happening is very good news for CVTC students, staff, and the public that CVTC serves. The outage is due to the planned move of the CVTC data center from the current location to the new CVTC Regional Data Center. The move will give CVTC a state-of-the-art data center that will better meet the needs of CVTC students and staff and better serve all CVTC programs.
