The Wisconsin Technical College District Boards Association serves to create a statewide voice in support of technical, vocational, and adult education in Wisconsin; to provide a forum for board member education and development; to share best practices and new ideas between board members and college districts; and to promote and realize state and federal legislative agendas in the best interest of the technical colleges and our customers.
Mona is a 1985 graduate of CVTC, receiving her associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. She is currently a project manager at UW Health Eau Claire Family Medicine Clinic. She has taught at CVTC and at Lakeland College and Globe University. Mona first got involved with CVTC when she served on the CVTC Alumni Association Board from 2001-2009 and was then appointed to the CVTC District Board in 2007. She has served as secretary of the board and currently is the vice chair.
“I am proud to work for a board that is invested in the technical college system,” stated Bruce Barker. “It’s important to have representation from our area on the board, and Mona will represent CVTC very well.”
