Sixty-nine CVTC students spent their evening making dinner for about 120 people at the Community Table in Eau Claire. The Community Table serves hot meals 365 days each year to those in Eau Claire needing food and hospitality.
As a group, economic and sociology students sold popcorn and candy bars and wanted to make sure the money raised went to a good cause. Over $300 was raised throughout the year and given to The Community Table.
"I am so proud of our students' efforts. They conducted themselves in such a professional, caring, hard-working manner," sate Flint Thompson, CVTC Economics Instructor. "Many life and economics lessons were learned through this experience!"
