The Learning Resource Center

Nursing Consult

The Learning Resource Center is now available in Room 204 E in the Health Education Building. The Learning Resource Center exists to support classroom and clinical instruction in the healthcare programs of CVTC. Services that are available are exam proctoring, assistance with skill acquisition, and extra help for at-risk students.

The HPS Lab

The Human Patient Simulator Lab (HPS) and Virtual Hospital are recent additions to CVTC. Students, working with their instructors, have the opportunity to apply their critical thinking skills while practicing and performing nursing assessments and skills on a variety of simulation models in these labs. These models allow students to encounter a wide variety of acute and chronic health conditions and their respective care. The HPS Lab
