Newly appointed Wisconsin Sec. of Commerce Dick Leinenkugel toured CVTC’s NanoRite Innovation Center recently. Nanoscience Technology Instructor John Wagner described clean room operation to the commerce secretary and CVTC President Bruce Barker.               

 

Sec. Leinenkugel returned to the Chippewa Valley where his family has operated a brewery for 140 years. Leinenkugel told the Chippewa Valley Business Report recently that his goal for the seven division,  400 employee state agency is simple. “We’re committed to make Wisconsin the best place to live and do business,” he said.

 

“We have a skilled and very motivated work force here,” he said. “We have a terrific UW System and technical college system in the state too. We can provide a skilled and highly motivated workforce.”
