Agriscience Technician
The Agriscience Technician Program is a two-year Associate Degree in applied science. Students complete the requirements for the core courses during the first year and specilize in either crop or animal science the second year. Most students try to take both tracks with overloads and elective choices from both areas. A required internship between the first and second year provides valuable advanced skills and job experience in a chosen specialty. In addition, most students complete the tests required to obtain their Commercial Driver's License and Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License. Students may enter the program in fall, summer, or winter terms.
