The CVTC Community

We would like to introduce the ways you can get involved and stay informed about the happenings at CVTC! This module of orientation focuses on student life and the CVTC community. You can get involved by joining clubs, organizations, or Student Government.

Research indicates that there are numerous benefits to being involved. Students who are involved:

• are more successful in their academic program
• feel more satisfied with their college experience
• develop valuable leadership and interpersonal skills
• are more marketable when job searching

When you become involved, you have opportunities to network with future employers and learn leadership skills which will help you become more successful after graduation. Students that get involved in campus life are more successful students. They have higher GPAs, tend to graduate at higher rates, and have better time management skills.
