Student Clubs and Organizations

Enhance your educational experience by joining a program club. A majority of programs at CVTC have a club. View club listings. Some clubs also have their own websites! The clubs are involved with fundraising activities, community service projects, and social activities. There are organizations, such as Diversity Student Organization, that you can join – no matter what your program. Joining a club or organization is a great way to enhance your education.

Student Government AssociationStudent Government Association (SGA)

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the governing body of students at CVTC. They are the voice of the students and the liaison with college administration.

What SGA does for YOU!

  • Represents students on college committees.
  • Subsidizes the cost of field trips and professional conferences/competitions to recognized student clubs.
  • Provides social, educational, cultural, and leadership activities.
  • Advocates for students at the state level through the Wisconsin Student Government.

Student GovernmentAll students are welcome to attend SGA meetings.

  • Meetings are held bi-weekly throughout the academic year. SGA is comprised of an executive board, campus representatives, and club representatives. You can run for office or be a club or campus representative.

SGA will help you gain valuable leadership skills and is an experience that will make you more marketable and competitive in your profession. It is a great way to meet new people and have fun! Contact Student Life if you are interested in learning how you can become active in SGA. Everyone is welcome.
