Accounting

The Accounting program at CVTC is designed to help you learn to record and interpret financial business data. You will develop analytical skills that enable you to seek careers as accountants, auditors, or income tax preparers. Computers and software are incorporated to reflect current industry technology. Students are prepared to perform duties such as: 

• maintaining accounting records and systems. 
• analyzing business records. 
• designing new systems or modifying existing systems.

Accounting graduates are eligible to take the Accreditation in Accountancy (ABA) and/or an Enrolled Agent (EA) exam to further support your educational background. There are many opportunites when you have an accounting degree. You have options!
