Professional Organizations
- Business Professionals of America - BPA is an professional organization that prepares students for the business workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills. By integrating its programs into the business classroom, BPA builds student leadership, professionalism, poise, dependability, patriotism, and competency.
- American Payroll Association - The American Payroll Association is the professional society for Payroll Professionals.
- Wisconsin Association of Accountants - The purpose of WAA is to raise professional standards, improve the practice of accountancy, and encourage accountants in a continuing program of professional development.
- American Accounting Association - This association is a voluntary organization of persons interested in accounting education and research.
- Institute of Management Accountants - IMA Members are todays leaders, managers, and decision makers in management accounting and financial management.
- National Society of Accountants - NSA and its affiliates represent more than 30,000 independent practitioners who provide accounting, tax, auditing, financial and estate planning to 19 million individuals and businesses.
Government Organizations
- Internal Revenue Service - The IRS, a branch of the Department of Treasury, deals directly with more Americans than any other institution, public or private. It also is one of the world's most efficient tax administrators.
- Social Security Administration - The Social Security Administration (SSA) is headed by a Commissioner and has a staff of over 65,000 employees within an organizational structure of 13 offices.
- Wisconsin.gov - Wisconsin.gov is the Wisconsin Citizen's Portal that provides interactive government services online to help meet the needs of the businesses and the people of Wisconsin.
