How is enrollment determined?

Enrollment status for 8 and 16 week terms:

• Full-time enrollment is 12 credits or more
• Three-quarter time enrollment is 9-11 credits
• Half-time enrollment is 6-8 credits
• Less than half-time enrollment is less than 6 credits.

I plan to transfer to a university after a semester or two at CVTC. What should I take?

How do I register for Distance Learning and non-credit courses?

You may be eligible to register online for your distance learning, credit or non-credit course(s). Select a category for enrollment information at Chippewa Valley Technical College:

1. You are enrolling for a single course or just a few courses and you are not currently a student at Chippewa Valley Technical College - view course registration information.
2. You are currently enrolled as a student in an Associate Degree or Diploma program at Chippewa Valley Technical College - Register with SIS.
3. You have enrolled as a student at Chippewa Valley Technical College in the last 10 years - Register with SIS.
