Academic Services
The Academic Services Center is a walk-in facility for all CVTC students needing assistance with their class assignments and projects. In addition, members of the general public use the SSC to improve skills to enter programs or for self-satisfaction. Individual study for the High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) and the General Educational Development (GED) diploma and High School Credit are also provided. Assistance with math, English, social studies, and science classes is readily available. Learning materials and one-to-one instruction are provided free of charge by qualified instructional personnel. Peer tutoring is available for enrolled students requiring help with general education and degree specific classes. One of the keys to success in your coursework is to ask questions.
