Career Tours 2009-2010 Dates Now Available!

Chippewa Valley Technical College is pleased to present Career Tours 2009-2010. Designed to introduce students to the exciting opportunities of technical education, Career Tours provide each student with a focused visit to several related CVTC programs. Last school year, nearly 2000 students participated. Please see the list of 'Career Tours,' which includes more than forty career opportunities.

Career Tour participants spend two hours on our campus. After an introductory overview of technical education, students separate into their chosen tour option for a focused visit to learn about three to five CVTC programs. Participants visit our classrooms and labs, meet our instructors, and talk with our students. Career Tour feedback has been very positive. Students gain valuable knowledge about career options!

Due to the popularity of this program we are only able to accommodate high school students. Middle schools are encouraged to contact the college to set up in-class presentations. High schools are encouraged to schedule students' participation in Career Tours as soon as possible. At time of registration, please have names of students and tour interest to reserve a space.
