Group Pages 
Your instructor may create a Group in Blackboard to form study or project groups. You can access the Group Pages by clicking on the Communication Button. Notice that the group you belong to is underlined and any group that you do not belong to is not underlined (you cannot access it). Sometimes this underlining is the only way you will know to which group you belong.
The options that your instructor may or may not use are:
- Group Discussion Board* - can post Threads (may be able to upload files if the instructor chooses that option - it is not the default).
- Group Virtual Classroom* - rarely used in groups.
- Group File Exchange - used to upload files, but you cannot add comments like you can with the Discussion Board.
- Group E-mail* - you can send e-mails to all group members.
