Please review the information below to learn about the process used to fill instructional openings as they occur. An Adjunct Instructor holds a temporary teaching position. He/she is called upon to act as an additional teaching resource when Full-Time Instructors are not available. Generally, the Adjunct Instructor teaches on a part-time basis. However, Adjunct Instructors could teach from one course to a full-time load. The need for Adjunct Instructors varies each semester. POSITION PROFILE:The Part-Time (Adjunct) or Substitute Instructor will deliver course instruction under the direction of the Campus Administrator or appropriate Program Manager. The assignment may involve day, evening, or weekend classes at various locations throughout the district. Assignment of the primary instructor is contingent upon sufficient enrollment in accordance with College policy.
