Youth Options

The Youth Options program allows all public high school juniors and seniors who meet certain requirements to take classes at CVTC. Follow these easy steps to begin your Youth Options journey. Step One

Choose Your Classes

Your first step toward enrolling in Youth Options is to identify your classes. You may be interested in career exploration, general education, or program classes.


 

Step Two

Complete a Youth Options Application
All students who wish to enroll in the Youth Options program at CVTC must fill out an application and submit it to your High School. Students are strongly encouraged to complete their applications as soon as possible. Preferred application dates are: 

Step Three

Complete COMPASS® Assessment (recommended)

Visit the COMPASS® website to view more information. The cost of the assessment is $20. The ACTTM College entrance exam may be used in place of COMPASS®


Step Four

Attend Registration and Orientation

During registration you will select your class section (times and days). Counseling staff will be available to assist you with this process. CVTC will notify you of your exact registration date.

  • Early December for Spring Classes
