My CVTC is the College's web portal. It allows students access to information and web-based software applications such as:

Accessing Your Email

• Log into My CVTC at http://mycvtc.cvtc.edu
• Click the Email button in the upper right hand corner of the screen

My CVTC Software

Through My CVTC you can access software applications anytime from any location that has internet access. If you are accessing My CVTC software for the first time you will be prompted to install software.

CVTC Wireless

Secured wireless is now available at all CVTC campuses. View documentation on connecting your laptop to the Wireless Network.

Blackboard

Blackboard is a user-friendly secure website where you access course materials, view tutorials, participate in written discussions, and complete tests and assignments. Blackboard provides access to: online and hybrid courses, and some web-enhanced courses (not all instructors use Blackboard). Learn more about Blackboard and view helpful step-by-step guides.

If your instructor uses Blackboard, you should login daily.

1. After logging into My CVTC access Blackboard
2. Blackboard will open in a new window and you will see a listing of all your courses
3. Remember that most courses will NOT be available until the first week of scheduled classes
4. Take some time to explore all of your Blackboard courses.
