Operating the Workstations

The key to understanding the Workstations is knowing how to switch between equipment types (i.e. copy camera or DVD) and that the TV window displays the image. 

Control Panel

The control panel allows you to select your equipment type, such as the copy camera or DVD player. Once you select your equipment, it will play in the TV window. To choose your equipment type using the control panel click the input type button.

Or use the following keys on the keyboard:

<ALT><2> VCR/DVD Player
<ALT><3> Copy Camera
<ALT><F> Maximize or Minimize the TV Window
<F11>       Switches between the TV window and any other application you have open
<F2>         Will hide/unhide the control panel

Copy Camera

1. Make sure the Copy Camera is on
2. The TV window must be open, if it is not, double click the MultiMedia Center icon on the desktop
3. On your keyboard, press <ALT><3>simultaneously
4. Place the document on the camera.

VideoTape/DVD

1. Make sure the VCR/DVD player is on
2. The TV window must be open, if it is not, double click the MultiMedia Center icon on the desktop
3. On your keyboard, press <ALT><2>simultaneously
4. Insert your videotape or DVD and press play. It may take 10 seconds for your video to appear
