The Center for Continuing Education for Health Professionals is a collaborative effort between area health care providers and educators. These entities include Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC), University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin Medical School-Family Medicine Residency, Marquette University School of Dentistry, Sacred Heart Hospital, Marshfield Clinic, Luther Midelfort-Mayo Health System, and Memorial Medical Center-Neillsville. The goal of this center is to ensure high quality educational programs and courses.
The Center responds to changes in health care and to requests of health care professionals and community leaders in developing and coordinating educational programs and courses that reach the needs of practicing rural and urban health care providers. The spectrum of courses and programs of the Center for Continuing Education for Health Professionals focuses on the acquisition of core competencies, problem and practice-based learning, systems and team-based approaches, and life-long learning in the healthcare professions.
Our Mission
The mission of the Center for Continuing Education for Health Professionals is to provide life-long continuing education for physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, prehospital personnel and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
