2008 Regional Fire Department Hiring Process


Regional Fire Departments are accepting applications for the 2008 hiring process.

Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is the general contact point and testing center for the 2008 process.

Information and forms required for the process are provided in the information and application packet.

  Candidates must
  • Be eighteen (18) years of age;
  • Possess a valid driver's license;
  • Have a high school diploma or GED;
  • Have successfully passed the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) that can be taken through CVTC; For CPAT information go to CPAT Orientation Site.
  • Be a U.S. citizen;
  • Pass a written exam and successfully complete an oral interview (required by all departments); and
  • Submit an application by 4:00 p.m. on February 8, 2008.
