Dr. Grace Rich, CRM, is an instructor in the Business Management department at Chippewa Valley Technical College. She is the recipient of the highest teaching honor accorded a member of the Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education. Dr. Rich holds an earned doctorate in adult and computer education from the University of Wisconsin. Her business experience includes work as a legal secretary in Eau Claire, Wausau, and Madison, Wisconsin; a marketing coordinator in Boston; an administrative services supervisor at an engineering firm in Madison, Wisconsin, where she was responsible for the records center and staff, and later a projects manager at the same engineering firm where she led a corporate-wide reorganization of the records management system. Like many master teachers, her instruction is marked by both humor and purpose.
