Diversity Report

The Diversity Report is a report on developing diversity that was made by a chosen task force to develop strategies to advance diversity and ensure equity to increase success in a global community. The idea behind the task force was developed through conversations with student members of CVTC's Multicultural Club. The college president, William Ihlenfeldt, was impressed with both the message and the approach of the students.

As a result of the impression the Multicultural Club made, they were invited to an Executive Cabinet meeting to share their thoughts. The Multicultural Club made several recommendations that are being submitted for consideration and implementation by the President and the Executive Cabinet.

The task force recognizes that all recommendations may not be completely adopted and adjustments may be made. The task force members remain ready to help the process in improving diversity and would be pleased to be called upon to provide input in the process.
