I am graduating with honors from the Marketing Program in December 2007. I graduated from Altoona High School in 2001 as the Marketing student of the year under the instruction of Carol Robarge. I was an active member of DECA throughout high school as I served as our chapter Historian. During my time at CVTC I became active with the WMMA chapter here. While participating in WMMA I placed third overall at the state competition in my division which was retail management. I also received recognition for my written test scores in my division at the International Competitions held in Orlando, Florida. I proudly served as the General Manager of both the Bridgeport and Campus Trends stores at CVTC during the Spring semester of 2007. During my time in the stores at CVTC we increased sales by almost $8,000. I have really enjoyed the hands on learning experience that the Marketing program at CVTC has provided me with and I highly recommend the program.
