Two new members will be joining the Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) Board of Trustees: Russell Ratsch and Jennifer Vogler will serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2012.

When Becky O’Connor and Jamie Beattie received their diplomas during Chippewa Valley Technical College’s spring commencement ceremony, their new employers were among those in attendance offering congratulations.

Matt Matzek will use the skills he learned in the Residential Construction program at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) in River Falls in his new job and for the rest of his life.

Chippewa Valley Technical College was well-represented at the 76th annual conference of the Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education held recently in Appleton.

Jamie Dodge grew up amid substance abuse, violence and neglect. However, those experiences helped forge a desire to care for children and understand their challenges.

The Electromechanical Technology program students have been working very hard this past semester putting together final projects that wrap up everything they have learned over their two-year experience at CVTC.

Each of the more than 30 graduates honored during Chippewa Valley Technical College’s GED and HSED Recognition Ceremony had their own reason for being proud of their accomplishment.
